Yellowhammer News Said No? No Problem!

So, Yellowhammer News wouldn't run this 'cause it didn't have the okay from the top brass? Their loss is our gain! Let's talk about the REAL deal in this election.

An Easy Choice, For Once

Sometimes, political choices are a real head-scratcher. This ain't one of those times. On May 19th, Alabama Republicans have a clear path: send reinforcements to Trump or roll the dice on unknowns.

Trump's Pick: Barry Moore

President Trump is crystal clear: he wants Barry Moore in the U.S. Senate representing Alabama. That endorsement should carry serious weight, folks. This isn't some fly-by-night endorsement.

Loyalty Matters

I've been Team Trump since day one, back when it wasn't the popular choice. Barry Moore? He was right there too.

Trump learned during his first term who folds under pressure, who buckles when the media and the establishment come for them. DC's a snake pit!

Barry Moore? He's been through the wringer and came out stronger. He's stood tall against the swamp creatures infesting our government.

The Underdog Advantage

Barry's refusal to play the game makes him the underdog every time. The big money guys can't control him. He's his own man. The establishment doesn't know how to handle him.

They redrew Alabama's districts to mess with Barry. They tried to knock him down. But Trump gets it. That's why he wants Barry in Washington.

Two Years to Make It Count

We only have two years left with Trump at the helm. Two years to secure the border, unleash American energy, supercharge the economy, expose corruption, stop federal overreach, and fight for America First.

This isn't the moment for untested candidates who might crack under pressure. The stakes are sky-high.

Follow the Money

Sure, some candidates sound good. Maybe they're even decent folks. But nobody becomes a serious Senate contender without major backing.

We need to ask: Who's pulling the strings? What do they want in return?

Who's Outside the System?

Alabama voters aren't dummies. They know powerful interests have been shaping state politics for ages.

So, who's truly outside that system? Barry Moore.

He's never been the establishment's darling. He's built his career on principles, not payoffs.

Barry Moore Can't Be Bought

The political insiders are freaking out because they know they can't manage Barry. They can't buy him. They can't intimidate him into betraying the people.

That's precisely why Alabama needs to elect him.

Trump Knows Best

President Trump isn't just hoping for support. He's asking for someone he already trusts. Someone tested. Someone loyal. Someone who's proven they'll stand tall when others crumble. Trump knows Barry Moore won't let him down.

On May 19th, it's simple: side with the establishment or with Trump? Vote Barry Moore Republican for U.S. Senate!

Alright ChumCity citizens, buckle up!

Caller Goes Full South!

So, this dude calls into a talk radio show after attending one of those "All Roads Lead To The South" rallies. Sounds harmless, right? Wrong!

Brain Rot Alert!

Apparently, the rally completely fried his circuits. The guy regurgitated every single, tired lie you can imagine. Honestly, it's like he mainlined misinformation straight from the news cycle.

Facts? Who Needs 'Em?!

And get this – according to him, facts are totally irrelevant because Democrats don't even believe what they say! Can you even?

Redistricting Fatigue? More Like Republican Fail

Anyone else feeling totally drained by all this redistricting drama? Seems like our so-called Republican legislators in Alabama are right there with us... except maybe not for the right reasons. What we're seeing is just the latest chapter in the never-ending saga of Republican inaction.

From Incompetence to Something Worse

I used to chalk it up to incompetence, or maybe just a lack of urgency. But this redistricting mess has led me to a darker conclusion: are these Republicans in Montgomery even really on our side?

A Golden Opportunity Wasted

The U.S. Supreme Court handed the Alabama Legislature a massive opportunity by lifting the injunction that forced race-based map drawing. Attorney General Steve Marshall – a true hero, BTW – stepped up and delivered a huge legal victory. These chances are rare gold, and conservatives can't afford to let them slip!

Safe is the New Cowardly

So, how did our "conservative" legislators respond? They played it safe, pushed through a 6-1 map, and called it a day. Settling for the easy way isn't leadership; it's cowardice disguised as action. They looked busy, but accomplished nothing.

Look North, Look South, See REAL Leadership

I'm urging the "Republicans" in Montgomery to take a look at Tennessee, which went from 8-1 to 9-0 despite crazy protests! And look at Florida! DeSantis had a new map ready the second the SCOTUS ruling came down. That's leadership. That's winning.

"Go Pound Sand," Says Alabama Legislature

Alabama was in a unique spot, with SCOTUS practically begging us to redraw our maps. Yet, our Republican legislators basically told them to "go pound sand."

The Unfortunate Truth

The reality is, if they wanted to, they could. If the Republicans in Montgomery truly wanted to turn Alabama red, they would. If they were the conservatives they claim to be, they'd get to work. Instead, they make excuses about time and expect us to buy it.

The Dems Are Coming

The Democrats of 2026 want to do irreversible damage to our country. We see the political violence rising on the left, and it's a warning. They're coming for blood. Does this even register in Montgomery?

Are You Helping the Enemy?

They're basically saying they're okay with sending someone to Congress who supports abortion, open borders, and all the other awful policies of the modern Democratic Party. Why else would they act this way?

You Fumbled the Ball... Hard

Attorney General Marshall did his job. SCOTUS handed you this victory on a silver platter, and you didn't just fumble it; you threw it into the stands and then claimed you won the game.

Just Be Honest

If you're going to protect Democrats in this state, just change that "R" to a "D" and be done with it. We'd have more respect for you than we do now.

Alabama's Tourism Industry Still Booming!

Hold on to your hats, ChumCity peeps! Alabama's tourism scene is still on fire, hitting another record year in 2025! The latest Alabama Tourism Economic Report confirms what we already suspected: travel is a MAJOR player in our state's economy.

From the sugar-white sands of the Gulf Coast to the awesome attractions up North, tourism brought in nearly $25 BILLION statewide. Plus, it supported over 255,000 jobs and generated a whopping $1.4 billion in state and local tax revenue! Talk about a win-win!

More Visitors, More Spending

Visitors really opened their wallets in 2025, boosting their spending at Alabama's beaches, attractions, restaurants, and entertainment venues by a solid 4%! That pushed total tourism expenditures to a record-breaking $24.9 billion – marking the fifth consecutive year of record highs!

Tourism spending in Alabama has been on a roll, growing in 14 of the last 15 years. The only dip? During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Since 2003, tourism expenditures statewide have skyrocketed by an impressive 264%!

Gulf Coast Still King, But...

Our stunning Gulf Coast remains the state's top tourism destination, generating over $10.1 billion in travel expenditures. That's a whopping 41% of all tourism spending statewide! Baldwin County continues to lead the pack in tourism employment and visitor traffic.

North Alabama Steps Up

North Alabama also continues to shine. The report revealed that the North Region generated nearly $4.9 billion in tourism expenditures in 2025. Madison County is also in Alabama’s top five tourism destinations.

Huntsville ranks third statewide in lodging tax share, and its growth as a hot spot for concerts, sports events, conventions, and space-related attractions has been a major driver of tourism growth across North Alabama.

Central Alabama's Big Jump

While the beaches are always a draw, the Central Region saw the strongest percentage increase in tourism spending, a cool 5.9%!

Tourism Impacts Everyone!

Tourism brings millions of visitors to Alabama and plays a huge role in the daily lives of Alabama residents. In 2025, it supported over 255,000 jobs statewide. Plus, the $1.4 billion in state and local tax revenue helps reduce the tax burden on Alabama households by an estimated $725 annually. Sweet!

Where the Tourists Go

Most travelers are concentrated in Baldwin, Jefferson, Madison, Mobile, and Montgomery counties. And, like clockwork, April through September are the busiest travel months.

The Future's Bright

With tourism spending on the rise, the industry's impact on Alabama's economy is only going to get bigger. From the Gulf Coast to Huntsville and everywhere in between, tourism is a major source of jobs, tax revenue, and economic activity throughout the state!

Barry Moore: Real Service, Real Results

Some candidates talk a good game about serving the public, but then there's Barry Moore. He's the kind of guy who quietly lives it, day in and day out. He's never needed the cameras to prove his commitment.

More Than Just a Politician

I've seen Barry Moore in action long enough to know he's not chasing political fame. He's focused on being a real voice for the people who sent him to Washington. Sounds simple, right? But in today's political circus, it's actually pretty rare and incredibly important.

You see Barry fighting for Alabama in the big votes, but also in the smaller, more personal moments that often go unnoticed.

A Veteran's Story

Recently, a vet approached Barry in a restaurant. He wasn't looking for a photo op, just help. He was struggling to get the hearing aids he needed – something no veteran should have to fight for. Barry listened, got his office involved, and within two weeks, that veteran had his hearing aids.

That's not a press release. That's real public service.

Standing Up for Alabama

That same dedication shines through in his work in Congress. He's supported legislation to protect election integrity, defend our Second Amendment rights, and push back against federal overreach that hurts Alabama families and small businesses. He's been a leader in securing our border, supporting law enforcement, and making sure our veterans get the care they deserve. These aren't easy fights, but they're the right ones.

Consistency Matters

What makes Barry special isn't just his conservative values, it's his consistency. He doesn't change his tune depending on the crowd. He doesn't sell out his principles for convenience. And he never forgets who he works for – the people of Alabama.

We value leaders who are grounded, family-oriented, and unafraid to stand up for what's right. We want someone who'll fight for us, not someone just looking for their next moment in the spotlight.

Delivering for Alabamians

Barry Moore gets it. His office has resolved nearly 8,000 cases for the people of Alabama since 2021!

When many folks feel disconnected from their government, leaders like Barry remind us what real representation looks like. It's about results, showing up, listening, and following through.

That veteran in the restaurant didn't need a speech. He needed help, and Barry Moore delivered. Just like he delivers for Alabamians every single day.

And that says more about the man than any campaign promise ever could.

Freddy Ard lives in Shelby County and was the past chairman for the Shelby County Republican Party.
