Revolutionizing Workspaces: The Next Generation of Office Glass Partitions | #windows
Everyone knows Tuscaloosa bleeds crimson for football, a program with a legendary history. But Coach Nate Oats has ignited a hoops revolution, turning Alabama basketball into a national powerhouse and bringing serious excitement back to Coleman Coliseum. Remember the buzz around a new arena a couple years back? Replacing the aging Coleman was on everyone's wishlist. Sadly, rising costs put those plans on ice, shifting focus to a much-needed practice facility. But don't lose hope, Tide fans! Athletics Director Greg Byrne recently spoke about the arena situation. He made it clear that the project isn't dead! They're committed to finding a solution for Coleman, which has been showing its age since '68. Coleman Coliseum got a shot of adrenaline with the basketball program's resurgence. But if Oats is sticking around, he and the team deserve a top-tier arena. It sounds like Byrne agrees, so keep your eyes peeled for updates on the arena front! The next couple of years could be big for Bama Hoops!Bama Hoops Arena Dreams: Still Alive?

It's been 200 days since President Trump's return, and the progress is HUGE! While the media's trying to paint a gloomy picture, everyday Americans are seeing the RESULTS we were promised. Just got back from town halls in Enterprise and Geneva, and the message was crystal clear: South Alabama wants the bold, America First leadership that President Trump's delivering! Let's dive into some of the BIG wins: The One Big Beautiful Bill – Trump's signature achievement – is already making a difference. Say goodbye to taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security! The 2017 tax cuts? Permanent! That's what happens when a businessman who cares about families runs the show. Our southern border is SECURE again. Apprehensions are way down, releases are ZERO. We're talking lowest numbers in modern history! Plus, over 13,000 missing migrant children have been found and rescued thanks to President Trump's focus. Leadership that saves lives! President Trump is ALL about American energy! We're talking 13 million acres in Alaska opened for mining and drilling, and Biden's radical "Green New Deal" favoritism is GONE. The One Big Beautiful Bill also rescinded billions in handouts to special interest groups and climate activists. President Trump is taking ACTION to protect our children from harmful procedures. Major hospitals like Stanford, Yale, and Penn have STOPPED "gender-affirming care" for minors. It's about protecting our youth! And the wins keep piling up! Regulation slashing, DEI nonsense OUT of schools, record market growth, and keeping men out of women's sports. We're just getting started! President Trump promised to expose the deep state, and he's delivering. Thanks to his work with DNI Tulsi Gabbard, we're seeing declassified evidence that Obama weaponized the intelligence community to push the Russia hoax. The truth about weaponized government is being revealed! I’m excited to work with him and Chairman Jordan to continue this important mission. President Trump is moving at lightning speed to save our nation, and I'm proud to stand with him every step of the way. Promises made, promises KEPT! Senator Tommy Tuberville recently made a trip to Dothan, and it wasn't just for the usual speeches and meet-and-greets. He had a special surprise in store for his Regional Director, John Ferguson! Picture this: a beautifully crafted wooden shadow box, presented by the Senator himself. Inside, a perfectly folded American flag rested alongside medals, commendations, and mission patches – all belonging to Ferguson's late father, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Ferguson's father, who served in Vietnam and passed away in 2016, was a source of immense pride for his family. “I was just speechless,†Ferguson shared, clearly moved by the gesture. “They went way above and beyond. It’s gorgeous.†It turns out, Ferguson had simply requested his father's military records through the senator's office. He expected them to arrive in the mail! Instead, Senator Tuberville took it upon himself to have the items professionally mounted and personally delivered the shadow box. The moment held special significance because both Ferguson and Senator Tuberville share a bond through their fathers' military service. Tuberville's father served during World War II, and the two have often swapped stories about their dads' experiences. Ferguson recounted how his father had always dreamed of playing college football but, after some youthful missteps, chose to serve his country instead. At just 17, he enlisted, and sadly, one of his close friends, John Dennis Leary, was killed in action in Vietnam. Ferguson's visit to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial years later, where he traced Leary's name, added another layer of emotion to the presentation. Senator Tuberville's thoughtful gift truly touched Ferguson. "It was just an incredible gesture,†Ferguson said. “Coach was really excited to give it to me. They went above and beyond.â€Senator Tuberville's Heartfelt Gesture in Dothan

Hold onto your hats, ChumCity citizens! We've got a spicy election tale brewing in Phenix City. Two local ladies have been cuffed and charged in connection with alleged illegal ballot harvesting tied to some fishy absentee applications for the upcoming municipal elections. The Phenix City Police Department jumped into action after the city clerk's office raised a red flag about multiple funky absentee applications. Turns out, the investigation led detectives straight to evidence of—you guessed it—illegal ballot harvesting! Meet Thalia Jenkins Hardin and Valerie Carter, the women now at the center of this electoral drama. Police say these two confessed they were volunteering for District 3 City Council hopeful Jamar Gayles when these alleged offenses went down. While Phenix City council elections are technically non-partisan, election records seem to indicate both ladies lean left. Hardin, 54, has reportedly voted Democrat since 2018, hitting up those Democratic primaries in 2018, 2020, and 2022. Carter, 53, apparently shares the same voting history, participating in Democratic primaries in 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2024. After huddling with the Alabama Secretary of State's office and the Russell County District Attorney's office, law enforcement slapped the cuffs on Hardin and Carter. They're each staring down multiple charges related to absentee voting violations. This all comes after Alabama tightened the reins on ballot harvesting with SB1, making it illegal to pay folks to handle absentee ballot applications or ballots. Secretary of State Wes Allen has been crystal clear that this crackdown is all about protecting the absentee process and showing the world that Alabama's dead serious about keeping elections squeaky clean. The investigation into Hardin and Carter's alleged plot is still ongoing, so stay tuned, ChumCity!Phenix City Ballot Brouhaha: Two Women Nabbed!

The North Alabama Drug Task Force (NADTF) just delivered a HUGE blow to drug trafficking, taking down a major operation in its first investigation under the Agent Billy Clardy III Act! Hosted by the Huntsville Police Department, this takedown is a game-changer. Get this: 23 indictments, $4.8 MILLION in drugs seized, $223,385 in cold, hard cash recovered, and 10 firearms taken off the streets. Plus, four vehicles used in the network are now collecting dust. This ain't your average bust, folks! This new law, championed by State Rep. Rex Reynolds, gives law enforcement serious muscle to crack down on drug rings. It's named in honor of HPD STAC Agent Billy Clardy III, a hero who tragically lost his life in 2019 while serving a narcotics warrant. HPD Chief Kirk Giles: "We've dealt a major blow to criminal networks! This law honors Billy and helps us continue his mission." Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Secretary Hal Taylor: "A powerful example of what happens when law enforcement works together with the right tools!" Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall: "Agent Clardy gave his life fighting to keep deadly drugs off our streets. This law honors his sacrifice!" The NADTF is a multi-agency dream team, including HPD, Madison PD, Madison County Sheriff’s Office, and ALEA. Madison County Sheriff Kevin Turner: "Drug traffickers don’t respect county or city lines, and neither do we! The North Alabama Drug Task Force is a united front striking from every angle!"
