Word on the street (and from some fancy polling!) is that U.S. Senator Katie Britt is currently the most popular elected official in the Yellowhammer State. That's according to a poll commissioned by the Business Council of Alabama and conducted by Cygnal, focusing on likely Republican primary voters. BCA let its members know this week that Britt's rocking a 72% favorability rating with a ridiculously low 14% unfavorable. Not too shabby! Senator Tommy Tuberville isn't far behind at 69% favorable (22% unfavorable), and Governor Kay Ivey's at 68% favorable (26.5% unfavorable). Even President Trump polled at 80% favorable but had a 19% unfavorable rating. Britt's net favorability is seriously impressive, and it seems she's making waves on the national stage, too. And get this: Britt's got a war chest overflowing with over $5.1 million. She's not up for reelection until 2028, but it looks like she's already gearing up! The Enterprise native has been racking up awards left and right, from the American Farm Bureau Federation to the American Foundry Society, and even an A+ rating from Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America. Plus, she's getting top marks for her work on border security. Seems like she's making moves all over the place!Katie Britt: Alabama's Darling?
