Live Locally Alabama: One Year Strong!
ChumCity is stoked to celebrate the first birthday of Live Locally Alabama, a killer initiative boosting awareness of how crucial local governments are. It's all about empowering us citizens, young and old, to get involved and build up our rad communities!
466 Cities and Towns, One Common Goal
Alabama's got 466 unique cities and towns, each with its own flavor. Live Locally Alabama has been spotlighting all the awesome services they provide. Think strong leadership, community support, and funding through local taxes – the backbone of our local awesomeness.
What Do They Do for Us?
Seriously, the list goes on: police and fire, water, roads, economic development, schools, garbage, parks, libraries, senior centers, and a ton of killer community events!
Why Should You Care?
"You don't realize how much your local government does until it's gone," says ALM Executive Director Greg Cochran. True words! They keep our communities safe, functional, and, let's be honest, fun!
