Katherine Robertson's campaign for Attorney General is gaining serious momentum! This week, she snagged endorsements from not one, but TWO more District Attorneys, adding to her impressive list of supporters heading into the June 16th Republican runoff. Baldwin County DA Robert Wilters threw his support behind Robertson on Tuesday, followed by DeKalb and Cherokee County DA Summer Summerford on Wednesday. Talk about a power play! "Katherine Robertson has delivered exactly that over the last decade,†said Wilters, citing her leadership in cracking down on violent crime and protecting kids. He also praised her stance against policies weakening public safety. Big endorsement from a guy with serious cred – 22 years as a judge AND time as an FBI special agent! Summerford, District Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit, is also firmly in Robertson's corner. She highlighted Katherine's experience and dedication to justice and victims. Plus, Summerford's been a vocal supporter of key initiatives Robertson championed, like Aniah's Law and the Speedy Trial Act! Wilters and Summerford join Madison County DA Rob Broussard and Autauga, Elmore, and Chilton County DA CJ Robinson in backing Robertson. But it's a two-way race! Mitchell landed an endorsement from former AG candidate Pamela Casey. The AG race is HOT! Robertson led the primary with a whopping 40.5% of the vote and won 44 counties. Now, she's gearing up to face off against former Supreme Court Justice Jay Mitchell in the runoff. Buckle up, ChumCity – this is gonna be a wild ride!Robertson's Prosecutor Power-Up!
