Big news, ChumCity! Manufacture Alabama just announced Parker Harris as their new Director of Government Affairs and Advocacy! This is a major move to amp up their efforts in supporting Alabama's awesome manufacturing scene. Harris is stepping in to champion pro-manufacturing policies and be the voice for manufacturers across the state. Jon Barganier, President and CEO of Manufacture Alabama, is stoked about Harris's deep knowledge of Alabama's legislative landscape and his strong connections at the State House. Sounds like the perfect fit! Before joining Manufacture Alabama, Harris spent over six years in Governor Kay Ivey’s Administration as a Legislative Liaison. He's worked hand-in-hand with legislators, state agencies, and industry players. Harris will be heading up the organization’s government affairs and advocacy strategy, collaborating with members, elected officials, and regulatory agencies to keep Alabama's manufacturers competitive and growing. "Manufacturing is one of Alabama’s most important industries," says Harris, "and I am honored to join an organization that plays such an important role in advocating for manufacturers across the state!" Manufacture Alabama is the only trade association in the state dedicated to the interests and needs of manufacturers and their partner industries and businesses.Manufacture Alabama Welcomes Parker Harris!
