The race for Alabama's open U.S. Senate seat is turning up the heat as we barrel towards the runoff election in June. Things are getting spicy! Candidate Jared Hudson is throwing some serious shade at his opponent, U.S. Rep. Barry Moore. He's really trying to stir things up! Hudson is painting himself as the true anti-establishment warrior. Hudson declared on X that Alabama wants "a fighter" who will champion conservative policies and bring Alabama's concerns to Washington. But Congressman Moore isn't taking the bait. He finished in the lead during the Republican primary, racking up nearly 40% of the vote. Not bad! Moore also snagged a valuable endorsement early on from President Trump. Hudson's also questioning Moore's faith, claiming Alabama wants a senator who "lives out a Christian conservative life." He added, "DC money is going to do everything they can to lie and slander us. It's not going to work." He finished with a pledge to "fight way tougher fights than this" and serve the people of Alabama. Moore fired back, stating that his faith is the "foundation for everything I do." He says it "guides how I serve, how I lead, and how I treat others." He added that he and his wife "felt a call from the Lord to get into this race." The Alabama Senate runoff is happening on Tuesday, June 16th. The winner will face the Democratic nominee in November. Remember, if you voted Republican or didn't vote at all in the primary, you can vote in the runoff. Get out there and make your voice heard, ChumCity style!Alabama Senate Race Heats Up!
