Alabama Senate Race Heads to Runoff!

Hold onto your hats, ChumCity citizens! The Alabama Senate Republican primary just got a whole lot more interesting. No candidate managed to snag over 50% of the vote, meaning we're heading for a runoff showdown on June 16th!

Moore and Hudson Face Off

U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise), rocking President Trump's "Complete and Total Endorsement," snagged the lead with a solid 39.18% of the vote. But former Navy SEAL Jared Hudson isn't backing down! He secured the second spot, setting the stage for a battle.

Marshall Concedes

Attorney General Steve Marshall put up a good fight, finishing just a hair behind Hudson. However, he's officially conceded, leaving Moore and Hudson to duke it out.

Who Are These Guys?

Moore's camp is drawing parallels to Senator Katie Britt's successful strategy in 2022, aiming to capitalize on his first-round lead. Hudson, on the other hand, is positioning himself as the ultimate outsider, appealing to Second Amendment enthusiasts and those yearning for a fresh face. He's even got a Federal Firearms License!

What's Next?

Mark your calendars! The Alabama Senate runoff is happening on Tuesday, June 16th. The winner will then face off against the Democratic nominee in the November general election. If you voted Republican in the primary or didn't vote at all, you're eligible to cast your ballot in the runoff!
