Whoa! Talk about a close call! A T-38 Talon II, a super-fast jet trainer from Columbus Air Force Base (right next door in Mississippi!), was involved in a "mishap" around noon yesterday in west Alabama. Thankfully, both pilots ejected safely before the aircraft went down! Can you imagine? Reports confirm no injuries, and both pilots are currently being evaluated at a local hospital, just to be safe. The Fayette County and Lamar County Sheriff’s Departments were on the scene lickety-split after the crash. The cause of the "mishap" is still a mystery.
