Talk about a nail-biter! The UAB Blazers journeyed to Tampa and delivered a performance worthy of the Final Four, battling the University of South Florida in an absolute barnburner. After two overtimes, UAB emerged victorious, 109-106! The Blazers faced a mountain to climb. Down by 11 with just five minutes left in regulation, things looked grim. To make matters worse, UAB's three tallest players fouled out, leaving them undersized and facing a roaring crowd of USF Bulls. But UAB refused to quit! Showing true Gene Bartow spirit, they clawed their way back from the brink, snatching victory in dramatic fashion. This win also prevented Coach Andy Kennedy from suffering his first 0-2 start in conference play in his six seasons at the helm. The Blazers (10-5 overall, 1-1 in ACF) are back at Bartow Arena on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. to take on Florida Atlantic. Don't miss the action!
