This bill brings federal law in line with what's already working in most states, and gets back to the tough-on-crime approach Congress always intended. It's a win for everyone, and it's about time! Top law enforcement groups, like the National District Attorneys Association and Major County Sheriffs, are backing this effort because they know this fix is desperately needed.
