The Alabama Crimson Tide is shaking off the sting after their recent home loss to the Oklahoma Sooners, their first under Coach Kalen DeBoer. Ouch! But don't count the Tide out just yet, folks! Despite the Sooner setback (their second in a row!), the path to glory is still wide open. It all starts this week with a face-off against Eastern Illinois. Think of it as a little pre-Iron Bowl tune-up. With the Iron Bowl looming large (and a College Football Playoff spot potentially on the line!), Coach DeBoer isn't letting the team wallow. He's all about moving on and getting better, faster! During his Monday presser, the coach emphasized his mindset and what he's preaching to the team. "I’m disappointed in the outcome, but I can already see the character of this football team shining through," DeBoer said. "This is not a time to sit still. This is a time to keep moving forward. We see areas that we can continue to improve on, and that’s what we have done all season long. We continue to push and go back to work." As bummed as fans were by the loss, you can bet the locker room felt it even more. Now it's up to Coach DeBoer and the crew to get the team fired up for the challenges ahead.
