Tammy West, the creative genius behind Glow Floral Event Design, has landed a once-in-a-lifetime gig: helping deck the halls of the White House for the holidays! She and her assistant, Lacey Labaj, are packing their bags for DC.

From Tuscaloosa to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue

West, a 30-year veteran of the floral and event design world, applied for the prestigious opportunity, showcasing her impressive portfolio and undeniable Christmas spirit. And guess what? They got the call!

Glitter & Glamour Await!

The team will spend a week in Washington leading up to the White House Christmas Party on December 1st. While the exact details are still under wraps, West is ready to dive in. "I'm sure we'll be covered in glitter the whole time," she joked.

Originally from Birmingham, West has called Tuscaloosa home for a decade, building Glow Floral into a community staple. "Oh my gosh, it’s just… I love Alabama," West said. "To be able to say we’re from Tuscaloosa and represent our state in this way — that makes it even more special. We want everyone to know where we’re from.”
