Here's a quick rundown of where the roadwork's happening: These grants are the final round of funding for the year under ALDOT’s Annual Grant Program, a direct result of the Rebuild Alabama Act. "Supporting all Alabama citizens for generations to come has always my mission... Alabama continues to make strides for future generations of Alabamians,†says Governor Ivey. She also said, "Through the Rebuild Alabama Act, we are delivering on that promise to make meaningful investments in local roads... Alabama is keeping our commitment to safer, stronger and more connected communities.†Cities and counties are pitching in too, adding over $2.4 million in local matching funds. All projects are expected to kick off within a year.
