Fighting for Alabama: From the Fields to the Senate

Hey ChumCity crew! I'm Jared Hudson, and I'm running for U.S. Senate in 2026. My life has been about service: Navy SEAL, law enforcement, small business owner, and fighting human trafficking with Covenant Rescue Group. Each role taught me about fighting for others, owning responsibility, and leading the charge. Now, I want to be YOUR voice in Washington.

Rooted in Alabama Soil

My commitment comes from my roots. Growing up in rural Etowah County, I was surrounded by farming. My granddad and uncle still work the land, and I have memories of helping (or trying to!) I drove a tractor, planted, shucked, strung, and sold! Those days taught me that farming is tough, but it carries the weight of feeding families.

More Than Just an Issue

Agriculture isn’t just an "issue" for me. It’s family. It’s community. It’s Alabama’s HEARTBEAT.

Standing Shoulder-to-Shoulder

Like in the SEALs or law enforcement, when the mission matters, you fight for those beside you. Our farmers deserve that same commitment. No empty promises from career politicians! They need a WARRIOR in Washington who'll stand firm and fight daily.

Building on a Legacy

We've been lucky to have Coach Tuberville in the gap for Alabama's farmers. He's taken the heat and fought the battles. I’ll carry that mission forward on the Senate Agriculture Committee, making sure Alabama's farmers are HEARD, swamp or no swamp.

Freedom to Farm

Washington often gets in the way of folks just trying to feed the country. Instead of clearing a path, they pile on paperwork and rules from folks who've never seen a farm. Farmers need freedom to produce food, raise livestock, and keep rural communities alive, WITHOUT Washington second-guessing every move.

A Farm Bill That Works

I hear it everywhere: Congress needs to pass a STRONG farm bill, and ON TIME. Kicking the can with short-term extensions leaves producers guessing. Farming's hard enough! A good bill provides stability and support for rural communities.

Alabama: An Agricultural Powerhouse

Alabama's already a powerhouse! Poultry, peanuts, row crops, cattle, catfish, and timber – the strength of our land and people is undeniable. With the RIGHT support, we can keep growing.

Listening and Learning

I won’t pretend to know every challenge you face. But I'll listen more than I talk and keep the door open to the people who live this work. Alabama's farmers have carried this state for generations. Let me carry that fight for you in Washington, not as a politician, but as your warrior for Alabama agriculture!
