South Alabama Sees Record-Breaking Freshman Class!

The University of South Alabama (USA) is bursting at the seams with its biggest freshman class EVER! This fall marks the third year in a row the university's overall enrollment has climbed, according to official numbers.

Enrollment Soars!

Total student headcount jumped to a whopping 14,285, up from 14,003 last year. What's driving the surge? A tidal wave of undergrads, including a staggering 2,137 brand-new freshmen! And the good news doesn't stop there – record numbers of students are sticking around for their third and fourth years!

University President Jo Bonner is giving major props to the faculty and staff for keeping the momentum going. "It's all thanks to them!" Bonner said, emphasizing their hard work in making South Alabama a top choice for students.

Recruitment on Fire!

Freshman enrollment has skyrocketed over 30% in the past three years. The secret? A serious recruitment blitz, including tons of high school visits and 51 "Jag Days" where students get to experience campus life firsthand!

Not only is the freshman class huge, but it's also super smart, boasting a record-tying average GPA of 3.75!
