Auburn's clawed their way to a solid 2-0 start, mauling Baylor on the road and then handling Ball State in their home opener. Now, the South Alabama Jaguars are rolling into town, and things are about to get real.

Sure, Ball State was a walk in the park, but South Alabama? These Jags are a different breed. They're coming off a nail-biter against Tulane, a team many are pegging as a serious playoff contender. Coach Freeze and the boys need to treat this game with SERIOUS respect.

Auburn's a hefty favorite, as they should be. Compared to Ball State, South Alabama’s still a cupcake, but one with razor-sharp claws. It'll take a monumental effort from the Jags to keep it close, but a few Tiger stumbles and suddenly, it's a ballgame.

Auburn needs to unleash that balanced attack we saw those first two games, running the ball and connecting with receivers. A similar performance from Jackson Arnold may be required.
