Meanwhile, elsewhere in North Alabama, the mayoral races were just as exciting! Albertville: Mayor Tracy Honea cruised to victory, securing his seat with a whopping 93.29% of the vote (1,767 votes). Hartselle: HUGE upset! Missy Evans dethroned Mayor Randy Garrison, snagging 52.03% of the vote (1,758 votes) to Garrison's 44.48% (1,503 votes). Boaz: Get ready for a runoff! Tim Walker (42.59%, 753 votes) and Jana Pair (33.09%, 585 votes) are heading for a showdown on Sept. 23rd. Current Mayor David Dyar didn't make the cut. Fort Payne: Mayor Brian Baine is staying put, defeating Pete Davis with 61.9% of the vote (1,600 votes). Moulton: Another runoff! Ryan Jolly (33.33%, 283 votes) will face Mayor Roger Weatherwax (27.44%, 233 votes) in a Sept. 23rd rematch. Muscle Shoals: A new mayor is in town! Billy Hudson unseated Mayor Mike Lockhart by a mere 104 votes. It was close, with Hudson grabbing 52% of the votes. Russellville: Mayor David Reed Grissom kept his seat, fending off Guadalupe Martinez with 53.64% of the vote (810 votes). Triana: Mayor Mary Caudle is staying put, winning with 69.5% of the vote (364 votes) against Greg Hazelwood.Guntersville's Cliffhanger!
