Heads up, ambitious high schoolers! Senators Katie Britt and Edward Markey just announced that applications are OPEN for the 64th annual United States Senate Youth Program's Washington Week (March 7-14, 2026)!

Represent Alabama in the Nation's Capital!

That's right, two stellar Alabama students will get the chance to jet off to Washington, D.C., and represent our state during this incredible week-long program.

What's the Deal?

This super competitive program brings together juniors and seniors from across the nation to meet with some SERIOUSLY important people. Think U.S. Senators, Supreme Court Justices, Cabinet members, and even the President!

Scholarship Alert!

And the cherry on top? Each of the 104 delegates gets a cool $10,000 college scholarship from The Hearst Foundations! This program has been around since 1962 and boasts over 6,300 alumni, many of whom are now crushing it in public service.
