United Way Aims High: $4.8 Million Goal!

Get ready, ChumCity! The United Way of West Alabama is stepping up its game with a record-breaking fundraising goal of $4.8 million for their 2025 campaign.

Packed Kickoff Event

Hundreds of supporters gathered at the Bryant Conference Center for a kickoff luncheon, showing major love for the organization. They're all about helping folks in a nine-county area, spreading the support to 30 awesome partner agencies. Think YMCA, Boys & Girls Clubs, Habitat for Humanity, and more!

Why Such a Big Goal?

Campaign Chair Josh Hayes explained that with rising costs impacting everyone, the need for community support is greater than ever. He emphasized that the most vulnerable among us are feeling the pinch the hardest.

Impactful Programs

Did you know one in four West Alabamians benefit from United Way programs each year? From youth education through Success By 6 to vital crisis support like the Tuscaloosa SAFE Center, they're making a real difference.

How to Help

The 2025 campaign is underway and runs through November 15. Funds raised will go straight to agencies providing direct assistance to families, kids, and those in need across West Alabama. Let's show our community spirit!
