U.S. Rep. Barry Moore from Enterprise is officially in the race for U.S. Senate! He's banking on his Wiregrass roots, strong faith, business smarts, and unwavering loyalty to President Trump. Moore is kicking off his 67-county campaign in Sylvania, his wife Heather's hometown. He promises to focus on his record, not just empty promises. Moore believes Alabama needs a strong, pro-Trump voice in the Senate, especially when it comes to border security, spending, manufacturing, and our freedoms. He emphasizes his long-standing support for Trump, stating, "We're not some weathervane politician. We're doing what we believe we're called to do." Growing up in Enterprise shaped Moore's view of the world. He served in the Alabama Army National Guard and is dedicated to serving veterans, recalling stories of helping them secure much-needed benefits. Moore stresses the importance of having a Senator who will stand with President Trump. "This isn’t ambition – it’s an assignment," he declares. Moore built his political brand with a waste hauling business. He and his wife Heather founded Barry Moore Industries, offering dumpster service, demolition, and more. Remember that time he voted in a garbage truck? That was Moore! He even made a "D.C. Garbage" ad that won an award! Back in 2015, Moore was the FIRST elected official to endorse Donald Trump at a rally in Mobile. Talk about getting in early! Moore faced a legal battle in 2014 that he calls a politically motivated "perjury trap." He refused to take a deal and was eventually acquitted. He sees this experience as a defining moment. If elected in 2026, Moore would take the seat currently held by U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville. Moore wants to "build on what [Trump] starts," focusing on border security and a strong economy. Moore plans to hit all 67 counties with high-density events and plenty of local media coverage. His wife Heather will be a key part of the campaign. Moore believes he is the most conservative candidate in the race. "I just don’t know any other way than who I am, and so it’s just who we are." He also claims to be the only candidate who is not a Democrat.Moore Throws Hat in the Ring for U.S. Senate!
