Judge Mary Windom Seeks Fourth Term!

Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals Presiding Judge Mary Windom is throwing her hat in the ring for re-election, aiming for her fourth and final term in statewide office!

A Republican Stalwart

First elected back in '08, Judge Windom, a Republican, has been a fixture on the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals, winning re-election three times already. Her fellow judges even tapped her to be Presiding Judge in 2012 – talk about a vote of confidence!

"Serving the people of Alabama has been an absolute honor," Judge Windom stated. She emphasized her commitment to justice, especially for victims of crime. "I'm not here to make laws," she asserted, "that's the Legislature's job! The law is clear."

Family First

Judge Windom is married to former Lt. Gov. Steve Windom. They have two sons and are proud grandparents to four grandchildren. The Windoms call Tallapoosa County home and are members of the Church of Christ.
