Back in '04, Dr. Pruitt was tasked with building a whole new division dedicated to making a real difference in Alabama and beyond. And boy, did he deliver! He’s turned the Division of Community Affairs into a powerhouse of innovative programs that blend learning, research, and good old-fashioned helping hands.

A Legacy of Service

Dr. Pruitt says he's looking forward to spending time with family and friends, but his commitment to the community won't stop! Under his watch, the division has blossomed, now boasting administrative offices, the Center for Community-Based Partnerships, and the Crossroads Civic Engagement Center—running dozens of impactful initiatives!
