Observational Research on Bifold Doors: A Study of Functionality and Aesthetics in Modern Architecture | #windows
Here in Alabama, we know how to build. It's in our blood. We forged steel that won wars and erected skyscrapers! Now, we're revving up as a top state for automotive manufacturing and the undisputed champion of automotive exports in the U.S.! So, it's no surprise that Alabama is becoming a HOT hub for the electric vehicle (EV) industry. And forget the political spin—this isn't about left or right. It's about Alabama's future, American security, and staying on top globally! EVs aren't just "green" anymore; they're strategically ESSENTIAL. Let's be real: the Chinese Communist Party is throwing BILLIONS at dominating the EV market. They want control of cars, batteries, and the whole supply chain. Their auto industry is predicted to grab a third of the entire global market by 2030, and they already control nearly two-thirds of global EV sales. Yikes! We can't afford to sit this one out. Ceding ground means handing over our economic and tech leadership—and that includes industries like AI and quantum computing! Alabama's NOT letting that happen. Controlling our food supply is key, same with our defense infrastructure. Letting China monopolize the cars our kids will drive? No way! Competing in EVs isn't a choice; it's a MUST. Alabama's automotive sector is answering the call! Since 2020, over $2.1 BILLION has been invested in EV-related projects here, creating almost 2,500 new jobs. Mercedes-Benz in Tuscaloosa County is cranking out all-electric SUVs like the EQS and EQE, supported by a battery plant in Bibb County and a $1 billion investment! Hyundai in Montgomery is also building electric and hybrid models, with a $300 million boost. Plus, supplier Hyundai Mobis is investing $205 million in a battery module plant, bringing up to 400 new jobs. Score! AIDT, our stellar workforce development agency, is even building a $30 million training center in Decatur focused on EVs and future tech. From EV charging experts to parts specialists, these are real careers supporting Alabama families. Plus, we're expanding our EV charging infrastructure, with over 270 public stations across the state! Even Love’s Travel Stops are getting in on the action! I own an EV. Why? Because it's a fantastic car that meets my needs. It's awesome, plain and simple! I believe everyone should have that choice. This isn’t about forcing anyone to drive an EV. It's about freedom and the free market. But the free market needs infrastructure and competition to work its magic. EV investments expand choices, empower consumers, and promote American-made energy. We've learned the hard way what happens when we depend too much on foreign oil and chips. EVs give us a path to tech and energy independence, powered by electricity made right here at home. Driving electric means less money flowing to governments who don't exactly love us. I'm proud to support industries that make America and Alabama stronger. In Alabama, we build. But we also build legacies of winning! EVs aren't a fad; they're the next chapter in Alabama's manufacturing success story and a key piece of our national security.Alabama's Electric Vehicle Surge: It's About Winning, Not Politics!

The latest "Longshore and McKnight" episode is sizzling! Let's dive into the weekend's chaos. Troy's Clemson trip started with a bang, leading 16-3 at the half! But Mother Nature (and a fired-up Tigers squad) had other plans. A lengthy lightning delay seemed to zap the Trojans' momentum, leading to a frustrating 27-16 loss. Ouch! Alabama's 73-0 thrashing of ULM? Impressive, sure, but did it solve anything? Ty Simpson was perfect, but Austin Mack's cameo suggests the QB battle continues to simmer. Auburn cruised to a 42-3 victory over Ball State, and quietly snuck back into the rankings for the first time in almost five years! Watch out! Vanderbilt pulled off the upset of the weekend, obliterating Virginia Tech 34-0 in the second half for a final score of 44-20! Did anyone see that coming? Mississippi State upset No. 12 Arizona State 24-20, reigniting the debate over the SEC's most disruptive home-field advantage. Those cowbells are LOUD! Florida's back in crisis mode after a sluggish 24-19 loss to South Florida. Pressure's mounting on Billy Napier, and the team seemed to lack urgency. Clemson's not immune to criticism either! Home fans booed Dabo Swinney as Cade Klubnik and the offense struggled. ESPN analyst Tom Luginbill is stepping back from his Sunday Sirius show to spend more time with his family, especially during his daughter's senior year.
