Sloss Tech 2025 just wrapped, and let us tell you, it was HUGE! A record-smashing 1,392 tech enthusiasts flocked to Birmingham's historic theatre district for three days of innovation, networking, and pure tech goodness. That's a whopping 56% jump in attendance from last year!

The event was jam-packed with 95 speakers, 50 cutting-edge startups, and a wild mix of keynotes, pitch battles, and networking bonanzas. All aimed at boosting innovation across the Southeast!

Pitch Perfect: Sloss.Tech/Ideas Southeast Pitch Competition
The inaugural Sloss.Tech/Ideas Southeast Pitch Competition, powered by the Regions Foundation, handed out $75,000 in prizes to startups in Agtech, Healthtech, Mobility, and Emerging Tech. WiNK Therapeutics from Florida snagged the $50,000 grand prize, while Atlanta's HERide cruised away with the People's Choice Award.

Next In Tech: Inclusivity in Action
Sloss Tech 2025 also made a big push for inclusivity with its Next In Tech program, giving 200 free tickets to students and early-career folks.

The speaker lineup was stacked! Think Zack Kass (ex-OpenAI), venture capitalist Rashaun Williams ("Shark Tank"), Johnny Cupcakes, and Dr. Ruha Benjamin diving deep into tech and social equity.
