For college football fanatics, especially around here, it's all about those nostalgic moments that define a program. Even when times are tough, like they've been for Auburn since parting ways with Gus Malzahn, it's the memories of greatness that keep the faith alive. Sports Illustrated's Pat Forde recently ranked the top 25 college football teams of the last 25 years, and guess what? Two Auburn squads made the cut! Coming in at No. 20 is Tommy Tuberville's undefeated 2004 Auburn Tigers. Remember those guys? Despite their perfect record, they were shockingly left out of the national title game in favor of USC and Oklahoma. It was a true injustice! As Forde put it, they were "The best team of the 21st century that never got a chance to play for a national title." Cadillac Williams and Ronnie Brown bulldozed their way through defenses, but the BCS system failed them. Right behind them at No. 21? Cam Newton's 2010 National Championship team! That season was pure magic, a 14-0 run fueled by Newton's Heisman-winning heroics. The comeback against Alabama in Tuscaloosa? Legendary. Forde summed it up perfectly: "It’s unfair to...several other Tigers to say this was a one-man team—but this undefeated season and national title was absolutely a Cam Newton production." His 50 touchdowns and over 4,300 yards of total offense were a sight to behold!Auburn's Glory Days Still Shine

Huntsville is once again playing host to the annual Space and Missile Defense Symposium, a mega-event bringing together over 7,000 military, government, and industry leaders from across the globe. The Von Braun Center is packed with folks eager to discuss the latest and greatest in defense tech. From the opening sessions to chats in the hallways, the "Golden Dome" concept is a major talking point, right alongside appearances from top brass at U.S. Space Command, U.S. Northern Command, and the Missile Defense Agency. It's clear that Huntsville's status as a defense and tech powerhouse makes it the perfect spot for this event. Kristoffer Ison, president of Maximum Technology, calls the symposium a "showcase" for the city, the Arsenal, and Marshall Space Flight Center. It's a chance to show the world what the Rocket City is all about. For local companies, it's like a family reunion, while for out-of-towners, it's an eye-opening experience. The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) is also here, highlighting its research, defense partnerships, and technological innovations. According to Kristina Hendrix, VP for strategic communications, it's an opportunity to connect with DoD partners and showcase the academic firepower of Huntsville. The symposium features panel discussions, research presentations, and exhibits from over 300 companies showing off their latest innovations. Of course, the Golden Dome is a hot topic. A panel discussion on Golden Dome that was removed from the SMD agenda has been rolled into the "Next Generation Missile Defense Industry Summit" at the VBC. A seperate registration with MDA is required to attend. One company, Lau Superconductors, claims they have the solution. CEO Wayne C.W. Lau says their technology uses a superconductor coil gun in space, powered by solar energy. He hopes to get his company's technology in front of President Trump. With U.S. Space Command potentially coming to Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville might just be the place to make it happen!Rocket City Buzzing at Space and Missile Defense Symposium
