Get ready, Mobile! Mike Jordan is the freshly elected Vice President of the Mobile Division at Alabama Power, and he's bringing a whole lotta awesome to the table. Jordan will be diving headfirst into community and economic development, plus handling external affairs for the southwest corner of Alabama. He’s packing some serious experience from his previous gig as area manager in the Southern Division since way back in 2013! Before Alabama Power, Jordan worked for Governor Fob James and even handled public info for the Alabama House. He started his Alabama Power journey in 2008 as a legislative affairs manager, shaping energy policy before taking on the area manager role. Talk about a diverse background! Jordan's been knee-deep in local economic and community groups across Butler, Chilton, and Montgomery Counties, and he's now the chair of the Region 5 Regional Workforce Development Board. Seriously impressive! Outside of work, Jordan's a non-profit superstar, serving on boards for the American Red Cross, Baptist Health Foundation, Boy Scouts, Freedom Rides Museum, and Ingram State Community College. He's always giving back to the community. Jordan’s a Samford University grad with degrees in history and political science, plus a master’s in public administration from Troy University.
